Jason R. Carr joined the Zimmerman Law Firm in 2020 as a clerk and started as an associate attorney in 2021. He has worked on a wide array of personal injury cases, including automobile collisions, premises liability, on-the-job injuries, medical malpractice, and wrongful deaths.
Jason earned his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers and worked with both the Tarrant County Judicial Staff Counsel and the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Brigham Young University.
Jason was born in Houston, Texas and lived in California, Brazil, and Utah before moving back to Texas to attend law school in Waco. While in Waco, he and his wife Meaghan fell in love with Central Texas and are glad to call it home. Outside the office, they can be found working out, teaching youth Sunday School, or photographing a horse show.
